The Colorado Behavioral Health Administration (BHA) is thrilled to announce that the full Crisis Professional Curriculum is now live on the OwnPath Learning Hub!

The comprehensive curriculum includes:

  • 32 courses spanning 45 hours of seat time
  • A final assessment with over 100 questions

Certification and Credentials

Colorado requires Mobile Crisis Response teams, Walk-In Centers, and Crisis Stabilization Units to have crisis professionals on staff. Completing the assessment qualifies individuals to operate as a crisis professional in the State of Colorado. Additionally, this curriculum will qualify for Micro Credentials towards an associate degree within the Colorado Community College System starting in the fall of 2024. Many courses also offer Continuing Education Units (CEUs) upon successful completion.

Enrollment Success

As of July 12, 2024:

  • 1,000+ enrollees in the curriculum
  • 8,200+ courses passed

These 32 courses (full list included below) are in addition to the 23 standalone behavioral health courses available on the OwnPath Learning Hub training platform. Visit the OwnPath Learning Hub to learn more and register for the full Crisis Professional Curriculum.
