Crisis Professional Curriculum

The Crisis Professional Curriculum (CPC) contains all of the courses required to become a Crisis Professional and utilize the Colorado Crisis Assessment in the state of Colorado. This course is designed for behavioral health service providers, social workers, counselors, peer support specialists, and other professionals who support individuals with substance use and behavioral health conditions. Training and Technical Assistance

Colorado is transforming its behavioral health system. The goal is to expand access to care and enhance the quality of care delivered to all people in Colorado. As part of this reform, the Department of Health Care Policy and Financing (HCPF) has launched a Training and Technical Assistance (TTA) program to address the diverse needs and goals of behavioral health providers. Race & Behavioral Health Series

The Race and Behavioral Health Learning Series includes distinct courses which examine the intersection of race and behavioral health in Colorado. By taking this course, you will increase your understanding of the unique challenges faced by communities of color and the cultural factors that influence help-seeking behaviors and treatment outcomes.

Topics include the impact of racial discrimination on behavioral health, cultural beliefs and values related to mental health and substance use, and strategies for addressing behavioral health disparities and improving treatment outcomes. Brain Injury Essentials

Brain Injury Essentials series describes the importance of screening for brain injury to better understand the severity and impact it has on behavioral health treatment and to better select strategies which can help adapt to these deficits.
