The Behavioral Health Administration is offering the following engagement opportunities to discuss the design and implementation of Behavioral Health Administrative Service Organizations (BHASOs).

BHASOs are intended to help individuals and families initiate behavioral health care and ensure timely access to services. The BHASOs will be implemented regionally by July 2024 and will consolidate substance use disorder treatment services (Managed Service Organization), crisis services (Administrative Service Organization) and will include services offered by Community Mental Health Centers.

The BHASOs will provide a continuum of behavioral health safety net services and care coordination. will also be expected to interface and align with the Regional Accountable Entities that manage services and provide care coordination for Medicaid members.
