On February 9, 2023, the Behavioral Health Administration (BHA) released a request for application (RFA) to distribute an estimated $4.5 million in grants.
The BHA is implementing the Behavioral Health Workforce grants to aid behavioral health employers in retaining and recruiting behavioral healthcare providers at all levels in Colorado. The BHA is asking for proposals from eligible employers to address specific behavioral health workforce challenges, with an emphasis on implementing original retention strategies. One-time grants of up to $250,000 per employer will be awarded to support such efforts over a one-year period.
