The Colorado Child Support Commission is seeking applicants to fill three vacancies.
The commission is required by Title IV-D of the Social Security Act and is charged with conducting a review of Colorado child support guidelines and examining discretionary issues presented by members and various stakeholders. Specifically, the commission reviews the economic data on the costs of raising children; judicial deviations from the child support guidelines; and issues related to the enforcement of support judgments. The commission is required to issue a report every four years to the governor and General Assembly of the results of the review of child support guidelines and any recommended statutory changes.
The members of the commission are appointed by the governor, and is seeking to fill the following vacancies in 2021:
- Certified public accountant
- Colorado county human services director
- Judge or magistrate
