I received my BA in psychology in 2013 from the University of Colorado at Denver. Shortly after graduation, I accepted a position in Child Support enforcement with Jefferson County. In March of 2016, I transitioned into the role of Parent Support Specialist with Jeffco’s Fatherhood/Parenthood Program. Following my certification as a facilitator trainer for the Nurturing Fathers curriculum in late 2016, I researched, wrote, developed, and implemented the Jefferson County Constructive Co Parenting curriculum. During my time as a Parent Support Specialist, I facilitated just over 400 parenting classes, engaged in over 1500 one-on-one coaching sessions with parents, and built partnerships with over a dozen community and government agencies. With my background in research design and data analysis, I am currently working on a Master’s degree to become a clinical mental health therapist. Because I have experienced the powerful impact that fatherhood programs can have on parents and the communities that they live in, I come into my role as the Fatherhood Program Administrator with a burning passion for the work. I am genuinely grateful for the opportunity to bring my experience to the state level, and look forward to meeting and supporting various program staff throughout the state.

Why do I enjoy the work I do?
I spent several years chasing a career as an actor because I love stories and storytelling. Working in the field of Fatherhood, I’ve had the honor of hearing the deeply intimate and emotional stories of hundreds of parents. I believe that everyone’s story is amazing in its own right, and I am constantly moved by the human capacity for resilience.

Fun fact about me:
I studied primitive living skills in the Pine Barrens of New Jersey, and I can survive in any North American wilderness with nothing but the clothes on my back. That said, I’ll take the creature comforts offered by a hotel over a sleepless night on the cold hard ground, any time. Also, I love trying new foods, and I’m always open to suggestions!

Colorado's 700 child support professionals collected more than $385 million for families across the state in 2020. In addition, with the help of child support offices across 64 counties, Child Support Services assisted 771 families in establishing paternity for their children. Read more here.
