Colorado Behavioral Health Reporting Model (CO-BHRM)
In fiscal year 2027, the BHA plans to launch the Colorado Behavioral Health Reporting Model (CO-BHRM). This updated data model is designed to decrease the administrative burden that data reporting places on providers by combining multiple data sets, eliminating redundancies, and ultimately aligning with more widely-utilized data standards. Under the CO-BHRM, providers will no longer need to submit duplicative data elements for clients receiving services for both mental health and SUD needs. As of right now, this data model includes CCAR, DACODS, ACT, FEP, and the Special Connections Pregnancy/Postpartum risk screening. Additional data sets may be considered for addition in the future.
For the remainder of fiscal year 2026, BHASOs and providers will continue to adhere to our current data models and data submission processes, including for CCAR and DACODS data.

Please note that this model represents the format in which data will be accepted by the BHA and does not necessarily reflect data submission specifications for BHASO-contracted providers. Please contact your BHASO for detailed provider specifications.
