April 22, 2021: On April 20, Governor Jared Polis signed House Bill 21-1130 into law. The bi-partisan bill expands the Transition Specialist Program (TSP), which facilitates the transition of children and adults from various behavioral health and substance use treatment settings to community living.

March 26, 2021: The Office of Behavioral Health's Jail Based Behavioral Health Services (JBBS) in collaboration with Forensic Services and jail providers has expanded services to incarcerated individuals who have been court-ordered to and are awaiting admission to inpatient competency restoration. JBBS currently has contracts with 10 counties to provide the enhanced competency services. Learn how JBBS is serving more than 90% of Colorado’s competency-involved inmates through this program.

Aug. 5: Colorado's 988 Crisis Hotline Enterprise Board is currently accepting applications from people with experience in behavioral health.

July 7: The Child and Youth Mental Health Services Standards Advisory Board is currently seeking to fill the following two vacant positions.

March 5: The Veterans Community Living Center Board of Commissioners is seeking applicants to fill two vacancies on its seven-member board.
